The DX 2021 Update includes In-App editing of Word and Excel Files, remote access, and enhanced speed and security
Tuesday, September 14, 2021 - Charleston, SC — Archive Power Systems, Inc. has officially released the latest version of its document management software, DocuXplorer 2021 (DX 2021), to its growing client base, incorporating a number of feature requests that make this version the most robust and secure in the company’s 24-year history.
The latest update allows users to edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents from within the software - even if they don’t own Microsoft Office.
To accommodate the recent shift to remote work during the pandemic, DX 2021 features a dramatically improved cloud-based offering, using advanced RDP (remote desktop protocol) technology, allowing users to log-in and use the software from anywhere in the world. The recent partnerships with ZorroSign and DocuSign now allows DocuXplorer users to electronically sign legally binding documents remotely, without the need to travel to an office or in-person venue.
Since 1997, DocuXplorer Software has evolved to be the industry leader in document management software with its cutting-edge design, ease of use, and extensive functionality.
Adding to the list of features, DX 2021 includes seamless email integration to allow for automated STMP email signatures. Advanced security features ensure compliance with all governmental regulations pertaining to electronic document security, including GDPR, FINRA, SEC, Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, and FERPA.
The updated OCR (optical character recognition) engine can now extract text from over 100 languages, allowing for text searches for users on all continents. DX 2021 adds a new French language interface, for a total of eight supported languages.
“Ensuring our clients have complete access to information they need, wherever they’re working is our top priority,” stated Allie Brittain, Director of Marketing for DocuXplorer Software. “In the 2021 workplace, remote access to business documents is crucial for business success. The enhancements incorporated into DX 2021 will provide our global clients with peace of mind knowing their records are accessible to staff wherever they’re working, yet still as secure as ever. These improvements continue to enhance employee productivity while reducing the amount of time spent searching for documents.”
